Spills + Crumbs

How long has it been? I have been neglecting this blog for some time. I have been quite busy helping Emilia with her brilliant project - collecting wishes in exchange for expertly folded paper cranes. It is a Japanese legend that if you fold 1,000 paper cranes, you get one wish that is sure to come true. Emilia is achieving this on a smaller scale - 500 cranes distributed and the last crane will be her wish for everyone elses to come true.

I went with her to hand out in Covent Garden and at Uni, meeting lots of different characters. It was certainly more exciting than doing my project. The theme of this project is "A collection." I decided to do spills and crumbs, since I am incapable of feeding myself without some falling overboard. We have also been busy preparing for our second Hugo Boss presentation, which I think went quite well. Only one more cut to go, if we make this one!

Here is what I have thus far on my craptastic crumb collection dealio. I am trying to take a scientific approach. I would have 2 boards, one with a floor plan displaying where the spill occurred, the other would be photographs of the mess and statistics. Have I accomplished this? Your thoughts? I have a long way to go, but here is what I have so far.

Floorplan with illustrations of the edible items in their state of wholeness.

Board with photos + stats, the evolution from left side (rough) to a more refined design (right).
