I have finally acquired the camera I had been after for quite awhile, hooray! So far it all seems to be functioning just fine.
I also collected the negatives I had processed from borrowing the school's version of this camera last weekend - and plan to scan them properly tomorrow, assuming I can use csm's facilities. Contacts below:
Only one and a half weeks until Hussain and I get snap-happy in Edinburgh!!

Santa Clara
I realized I have failed to post any photos from Cuba taken on the AE1 here yet, so these are a few of my favourites. I was in Santa Clara for my radiant friend Veronica's wedding. This whole trip was the inspiration behind the vegan suitcase survival kit I produced for the Pop Up shop.
I have a sketchbook to go along with the photographs, containing sketches/journaling and a poem or two. I will include some excerpts at the end.
I wrote a lot of this during bumpy bus rides so I apologize for the quality of my handwriting and my shameful attempts at sketching.

HATO + MUSIC
The final assignment for this year is producing a "How to.." type page for the design team Hato's publication about our course's experience/knowledge gained during the Pop Up Shop ordeal.
Hato suggested I do a series of vegan recipes and to look at 1970s cookbooks. I'm not finding the 70s particularly inspiring, but the end result certainly has a retro feel.
Here are some of the cookbook pages I quite like.
My rough draft is still a work in progress, so bear that in mind, but this is what it's shaping up to be...
I should add some productivity inducing music, as what I've been listening to lately appears to be aiding my ability to focus. Evidently I like live versions.
Bad live version, but sadly that's all I can find!
