I finally finished designing and assembling my poetry book, which was more popular than my fanzine! Here are some photos of the final product. Let me know if you want a copy!

Website building!

Our last assignment was creating a website, so here's a screen shot of a couple of my pages. It was fun + frustrating! I really want to redo the header, but I have enough on my plate with putting my portfolio together. Another day!

Oxford!

A few shots from a day trip to Oxford, what a beautiful old town! Too bad we missed the castle (again!)
Having some brewskis at the Rose N Crown, allegedly Thom Yorke's favourite pub!

Typo book revamp!

I finally got around to fixing my book cover design from Typography, so here it is!

IRELAND!!!

My trip to Ireland was quite eventful - first neglecting to check in at the airport and instead breezing through security only to discover at the boarding gates we had to run back to the check in desk. They told us we wouldn't make our flight, but we hotstepped it as fast as we could, escorted by security and made it to the plane just as they were closing the doors.

I had never been on one of those "online check-in" budget airlines, so I was confused by the lack of seat allocation. I asked one of the male stewardesses and he responded with a wink "you can sit in the lounge with me."

Once we reached the Dublin airport and deboarded the plane, I discovered I had lost my passport. We dashed back to the plane and I had to wait with my favourite stewardess whilst they sought out my passport, which he had found. Anyway.. here are a few of my photos!

My co-adventurer Miss Marie in Dublin:

the famous Temple Bar area in Dublin

A cool memorial of sorts. Famine was it?

On the train to Bray..

Bray Head!

Back in Dublin from the top of the Guinness Storehouse!

A bit out of order. We stopped in Dalkey, to visit Bono's favourite pub, the Queens Head.

Inside the Guinness Storehouse

On the escalator up to the top floor.

We made it to Dublin Castle (which we saved for our last day) 15 minutes after it had closed. So this is all we saw.

Here are a few pics from my visit to Emilia's hometown, Eastbourne. Beachy head (below) is what I imagined typical England would look like! Alas!

BRIGHTON!!

I just realized I haven't posted any photos from my venture to Brighton back in March. I shall just post a few, as there are heaps!
It was a mighty cloudy, windy day, but I have since been back in the warm sunshine. Now all the stands along the shore have opened and there is live music/pubs!
It is the perfect escape from London. I adore being by the sea.
